ICER BRAKES was present at this year’s Automechanika Frankfurt, held from September 13th to 17th in the German city.
During these days, we welcomed a large number of professionals from over 350 different companies to our stand, and we were able to reconnect in person with many of our customers, showcase our new corporate image, and present our two new product lines:
e2: Eco-friendly Brake Pads for Electric Vehicles
e2 brake pads are the first brake pads manufactured in Europe with a galvanized backing plate, a mechanical retention system, no paint or adhesives, and a unique friction material formula developed specifically for electric and hybrid vehicles.
These pads are also environmentally friendly, copper-free, noise-free, and made with a NAO formulation. Therefore, they are an environmentally friendly, low-emission product.
This new range initially comprises 13 part numbers, covering the main electric and hybrid vehicles available on the European market (such as the Tesla Model 3, Peugeot e-208, and Volkswagen ID.3, among others), and the company plans to expand the range with new part numbers.

LMD: Long-life brake pads for delivery vehicles
On the other hand, ICER has introduced a new line of brake pads specifically designed for delivery vans, called LMD, which offer significantly longer lifespan for these vehicles. According to tests conducted on real vehicles, these pads increase lifespan by between 40% and 75%.
Furthermore, they are also environmentally friendly and low-emission, and their formulation is free of copper and asbestos.

In this first phase, the range contains 18 different part numbers, for models such as the Mercedes Sprinter, Volkswagen Transporter, and Peugeot Expert. Icer plans to continue increasing the number of available part numbers in this range in the future.
